Meet the Team

Sarah Zimmer M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist, Co-Founder & Co-Owner

Sarah is a passionate, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who works with individuals from birth through adulthood. Her love for helping others began as a little girl, inspired by her younger brother, who is on the Autism Spectrum. Sarah fondly remembers attending his speech therapy sessions and being fascinated by the work of his speech-language pathologist — a moment that sparked her lifelong passion.

Sarah received her Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and her Master’s Degree from Seton Hall University.

Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in evaluating and treating expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, feeding therapy, myofunctional therapy, and supporting children on the Autism Spectrum. Additionally, she has comprehensive experience evaluating, implementing, and supporting Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, helping individuals develop effective and functional communication skills. In addition to her pediatric experience, Sarah has worked with the adult and geriatric population presenting with cognitive challenges, including difficulties with memory, attention, executive functioning, and problem-solving. She also has experience supporting adults with swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and other communication changes related to medical or neurological conditions.

She has worked in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, ABA centers, and schools, allowing her to provide well-rounded, functional, and individualized care across the lifespan.

Her therapy approach is child-led and play-based for her pediatric clients, while incorporating functional, goal-driven strategies for adolescents and adults. She creates a supportive, language-rich environment where creativity, confidence, and meaningful progress thrive. By incorporating each client’s interests and personal goals, Sarah helps individuals build skills that translate into everyday life. She also values collaboration with families and caregivers, believing it is key to supporting lasting progress.

When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, and making memories with her friends, family, and dog.

By using strengths-based, meaningful, and interest-driven experiences, we foster internal motivation, confidence, and a genuine love of growth — always guided by each child’s, adolescent’s, or adult’s unique interests and goals.
